After re-working silhouettes like the Air Python and Air Force 1, Rei Kawakubo’s Dover Street Market imprint may have taken on the Air Jordan 1.
Freshly leaked photos indicate a first-time collaboration between the two parties. The iconic silhouette is seen reconstructed in navy patent leather with an all-over iridescent gloss. Tonal branding hits appear on the collar and quarter panels, while the tongue logo and midsole were done in white to break things up a bit. The partnership is marked with special DSM insoles.
This collaboration hasn’t been confirmed and there’s no release date at the moment, but all signs point toward an eventual drop.
